AVOID AVOID AVOID. I know a couple who were told to postpone their wedding reception at Blenheim Palace by their wedding planner (Silverfox Events) on the basis that this company would refund them. They have still not received any money back nearly 18 months later and since then Ascot Structures have been hiding behind the planner. The owner even spoke to the couple on the phone at the time confirming he was happy to work out an arrangement but later backtracked. I find this hugely disrespectful and dishonest considering the circumstances. This was someone's life savings for a wedding not an every day event. Early on, the couple told the wedding planner to speak to all suppliers 'before' they postponed about a refund and this company continued to build the marquee regardless ignoring covid related issues, health/safety and the fact that the government had made it clear that social contact should be limited etc. I doubt the couple want a full refund but any reasonable business would have offered some sort of refund or future discount. There was clearly a breakdown in communication between this company and the wedding planner which has nothing to do with the couple who have probably lost around 50-100k. The fact that both of them are trying to cover their tracks rather than be honest is for me the reason why this company should receive zero stars. That's a lot of hard earned money that has simply disappeared...
