The Old School B and B

The Old School goes above and beyond all expectations. Wendy, the host, is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was incredible. They served delicious complimentary tea and cake every afternoon, and there was always a port or sherry available after dinner. We went for a bike ride on our second day, but managed to break one of our bikes 15 miles away from the hotel. As we had no internet, we called Wendy to see if she could find us a taxi service, but she simply came and picked us both up, bikes and all.

Wendy could not have done more to make us feel at home in her beautiful school house. Im not sure I have ever stayed anywhere where I have received such fantastic service from her team and so much luxury everywhere you turn. Wendy is an exceptional cook, the breakfast choices were endless, all cooked individually and to a very high standard. The rooms were full of lovely touches, from the toiletries, snacks and drinks and bathrobes to the amazingly silky bedsheets. I have come away feeling like I have been treated like royalty from start to finish, I will, however, not need to eat again for a week. Thankyou.

Just arrived home from a rainy weekend in The Cotswolds at The Old School. Wendy and her amazing team brought sunshine to our lives despite the depressing weather outside. The Old School is by far the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Luxury doesn't even begin to describe the accommodation this place offers; way above so-called 5* hotels. Truly stunning, beautiful place with decadent breakfasts...and when we were a bit late...well, very late... to return after a long walk, Wendy texted me to check we were OK. What a lovely person! Already making plans to return...if we're invited back
