I wasn't happy with this and, fortunately, had paid with Paypal. Our dispute continued in the same vein on the Paypal disputes site for a couple of days and so I escalated it to Paypal to resolve. Within 24 hours I had an offer from Ebuyer to return the card for a full refund. After I returned the card I waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, after 3 weeks and after Paypal chased them to confirm the card had been returned I finally received a refund.
I didn't want a refund. All I wanted was a replacement card. But I'm happy. I believe that Ebuyer deliberately delayed telling Paypal the card was received in a petulant and petty move to delay the refund. What I expected from them, particularly considering the large sums we are talking about, was a little good will and customer service. I don't believe I received either of those from my experience of shopping with Ebuyer. I would never buy from them again and can only advise that you don't either. Awful company!
A couple of days ago I was contacted by their customer service team in response to an 1 star review I left on Trustpilot. She offered to sell me another graphics card at the same price as the original one I bought, you know, what i originally wanted a month ago! I explained that I had already replaced the card after they made it clear they wouldn't replace it and I wouldn't amend my review as it was fair for the service I received.
A couple of days later I get emails from Trustpilot saying that Ebuyer are disputing my review is from a genuine shopping experience! So either they are so swamped with incidences of people forcing them to refund expensive graphics cards via Paypal due to their appalling customer service they cant tell one from the other (or search their orders via name!) or they knew my review was genuine and attempted to sabotage it because they didnt like it. Either way it doesnt look good. Now looking at their reviews on Trustpilot I can see 10% of them are 1 star. When you consider they have over 44,000 reviews this means 4,400 people gave them 1 star! Way to go Ebuyer!!

Avoid this company where you can. Truly awful.
