I attended the all year round vegetable growing course and absolutely loved every minute of it. The venue and garden were stunning and so relaxing to be in. Dean and Anna were super good hosts and made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was fabulous and plentiful and served in such a warm, relaxed environment. I came away with lots of new knowledge and excited to start my veg growing adventure. I met a great group of people who were so nice to get to know and spend time with. All in all a great day in every way. Thank you

Attended the Year Round Vegetable Growing course at the Yorke Arms and would highly recommend it. Very relaxed and welcoming approach, and Dean is a fountain of knowledge, enthusiastic to share and answered questions much broader than the course remit. The setting is beautiful nd the food was delicious and plentiful. Vouchers are a great gift for anyone interested in gardening, and so many courses available - I hope to be back for the Houseplants course in the near future.

I had such a wonderful day at the Northern School of Gardening Vegetable Growing workshop. Dean is a likeable, approachable and hugely knowledgeable teacher, and I felt completely comfortable as an absolute beginner. The setting at the Yorke Arms is stunning, the food was delicious, and the company such fun. A relaxed, interesting and useful day, which left me feeling much more confident in my own abilities.

If you have an interest in growing your own vegetables book a place on this course. The friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere and great food aside, Deans knowledge and enthusiasm are the standout feature. I went with the intention of learning how to grow a few spuds & carrots but now realise you can make a vegetable patch look like a flower garden, with many edible plants. Its well worth the money and a lovely day out.
