Great holiday! We have been here twice now and will be returning. The hosts Hannah and Jonathan are lovely people. There are two telescopes on site that we have made use of before. Jonathan will show you how to use the telescope then you are left alone to your own devices so you can relax and enjoy the stargazing. I would recommend taking thermals as it does get cold at night as you can imagine. I saw TWO shooting stars on our last trip down, first time I've ever seen a shooting star! We also saw plenty of stars and a few planets too (I don't want to try and name them as I'll probably get them wrong!) The property is located well for the town (app. 20 mins drive) where there are some great restaurants and lovely independent shops. The supermarket (Morrisons) is not too far either.. I'd recommend the Cornish pie company, lovely meal there. The lodge is well located for attractions such as Clovelly and Bude (app 40 mins) and Tintagel Castle and surrounding areas. There is enough parking for all three lodges on site, there is also a Cow field next door too (don't worry they are not too noisy and it doesn't smell incase you were wondering) they spend most of the day grazing and laying down as you can see in the pictures The lodges themselves are well equipped with everything you need from utensils, pots and pans, plates etc and they have a dishwasher too. We made good use of the wood burning fire last time too. You are given enough wood for about two nights but you can buy more from Morrisons. The shower has great pressure the water is hot, and the bath is lovely too - there's only 1 bath in one of the lodges, the other two lodges have showers. All beds are made up on arrival and there is a little pot of milk for a cuppa when you get there which is a nice touch. We have had great stays here and we are looking to book again, thank you Hannah and Jonathan, we'll see you again soon

We recently stayed at Eddington Lodge over a weekend as a birthday present and loved every minute of the stay. The Lodge was clean, modern and spacious enough for 4, and included a cream tea to welcome us. It is centrally located to many Cornwall sight seeing destinations including Tintagel, Bude and many others. One of the main reasons for going to Eddington was to experience the nighttime start gazing. This is provided at no extra cost by the owner - Jonathan - who is very knowledgeable in the subject. We were able to view the Moon, some stars, the spectacular planets Jupiter and Saturn and also the Andromodia Galaxy! We had a very enjoyable time and will definitely be going back.
