True Traveller

I had an incident whilst backpacking in the Philippines which required me to have stitches in my hand. I went straight to the hospital and asked how much the treatment would be - I was assured it would be below 500 so I agreed to the treatment without needing to contacting true traveller (as per their policy). I sent in a claims form with my receipts attached - which is 1 page so very simple. The next morning I received an email stating my expenses were being reviewed. A few hours later they were approved and paid into my bank account. Special mention to Patrik who handled the claim and was very efficient. I needed to claim for stitch removal 2 weeks later which was was once again a seamless process. I would definitely recommend true traveller.

No better than any other insurance company, just scamming you if your money

service is fine when everything eventually gets processed, but dealing with the staff is horrendous. youre basically okay until anything remotely complicated happens. not worth the stress or the sass.
