Its the second time I had ordered a scaffolding tower. The first time no problems. The second time just the poorest customer servicelet me explain, I ordered the scaffolding online knowing I would only need it a day I order the delivery in the am on the Friday and the pick up on the Saturday as this was an option on the website! When it was dropped off around lunchtime on the Friday I asked the guy when would it be picked up he said if I was done with it before 3:30 on Friday then they could pick it up then otherwise Saturday morning Ok, unlikely Id be finished with it by 3:30 so Saturday morning it is, we come in Saturday morning early put the scaffolding out the front of the gym and it was still there late morning so I rang Brandons Kidlington meet with the most condescending unsympathetic tone when I asked when the scaffolding would be picked up we only run a skeleton staff on a Saturday so it wont be picked up till Monday My response Weve moved it outside ready for you to pick up as I only ordered it for a day The response next was unbelievable if you had read the terms and conditions on our website you wouldve noticed that it is up to three days after your pick up time that we can pick it up, you a liable for any damage or loss if left outside before we pick it up So youre not picking it up today? Nope So I read through the website at the very bottom of the first page Terms and conditions and there it is hidden away like the lost treasure of Atlantis. section 6.2 THE CUSTOMER MUST GIVE THE SUPPLIER REASONABLE NOTICE WHICH SHALL INCLUDE THREE WORKING DAYS. Rolling around laughing I only ordered it for a day how am I meant to give three working days notice? Its a farce and the customer service a joke if you cant pick it up when the customer wants it picking up dont let it be an option. Ill be letting my 750 members know not to use Brandon tool hire at every available opportunity.
