I visited the cafe with my husband for lunch and initially, found it cosy and the staff, welcoming. However, once the staff had removed the electric fan from where we were sitting (it was 27 degree heat outside), with a gloved hand which he then kept on as he proceeded to cook our food; we waited twenty five minutes for a lunch that arrived before our coffees. Nevertheless, the staff appeared friendly as they fussed with serviettes. The 'Turkish breakfast' my husband had ordered comprised a small bowl of baked beans, a few scattered (tinned) green olives and a pile of mush masquerading as an omelette - though my husband did comment that it tasted nice. What made the afternoon for us, was that not several minutes after we'd been presented with our red hot drinks, the gentleman whom I presumed to be the owner, asked if we could possibly move outside (into the blazing sunshine) to finish our meals, as he had been planning to close early today and in his own words, 'had thought we would have been finished by now.' One look at my husband's flabbergasted expression told me that we would not be returning to see the dessert menu. Despite the extortionate bill for an unripe avocado baguette, a top notch Turkish breakfast and two wasted coffees, I would give this cafe a two star rating for the fact that the staff remained pleasant throughout.
