Barchester - Hollyfields Care Home

My Dad spent his final 5 months living in Hollyfield. The staff are angels, the place was always clean and homely. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything is patient-centered, and there are activities to suit all tastes and moods. They managed Dad's advanced complex dementia with respect and dignity, and gave him real quality of life. We feel really pleased that we have discovered Ivy House at Hollyfield Care Home in Kidderminster to provide residential care for my son. Coral, Gemma and their incredible staff have created and maintain a lovely, homely, caring environment where each patient is treated in this small cozy family unit as family member with dignity, patience,love and understanding as to their individual needs and concerns these are addressed or recorded to be dealt with when possible. The atmosphere is always positive, cheerful and friendly at whatever time you visit and the staff whoever is on duty are always helpful and give up to date information if needed. They always demonstrate a positive friendly attitude which shows they really do care and enjoy providing that care. Thanks also to those people behind the scenes who we do not see but all contribute to the way the care home is run. It has been a difficult and massive change for my son to adjust too but he has now settled in well thanks to the way the care and understanding of his situation has been handled. So a massive thank you to you all and if you are looking for the best for a relative of yours you need to come and see what your relative could receive in care at Ivy House Paul

The staff are fabulous and the care is excellent. We are confident that our beloved family member is being very well cared for. A real home from home experience with compassion and sensitivity at the fore.

In my opinion, Hollyfields has improved vastly over the last few months, the new manager is very capable, professional and immensely likeable and she genuinely cares about her staff and all the residents and their visitors. The staff seem to be working as a team and are doing a wonderful job. I'm satisfied that my mother is receiving the best possible care, thank you to everyone, without exception that works at Barchester Hollyfields Care Home.
