Bridge House Barn

Date of visit Friday 27th - Sunday 30th April 2023 with the wedding on the Saturday 29th April 2023. The manager, Nick, was absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him or the other staff. The teepee's were wonderful, I was amazed by the room inside them. The outside seating area was perfectly placed to enjoy the canal and beautiful scenery. There are a couple of things that need addressing - 1) The stepping stone paths are seriously dangerous and extremely challenging for wheelchair users. 2) The rooms, not the glamping pods, need cordless kettles. 3) The rooms could do with a chair being added for ladies doing their make-up and hair. I ended up having to pull the wheelchair backwards as it was impossible to push it over the stones. One of our party ended up with boiling water slopping over his hand. Each of the ladies in our party staying in a room, not a pod, ended up sitting on the floor to do their hair and make-up. It's ok for the youngsters but for ladies over a certain age this is almost impossible. Other than the above the venue is spectacular for weddings or special birthdays etc. The food was delicious and beautifully served. It really was a most memorable weekend. Thank you.

What a hidden gem

Excellent wedding venue location. Food and hospitality superb. The only down side was the trip risk of the uneven slabs and walking areas surrounding parts of the venue.
