Kibworth Court Care Home

My father had the misfortune of spending his last days in Kibworth Court. The permanent care staff are fantastic, particularly Darren who formed a good relationship with my dad. Problems lie in management and the guidance of Caroline who is the manager. Issues include: discovering my father semi dressed lying on a plastic sheet with no quilt cover, loss of belongings and clothing, regularly full and overflowing stoma bag to name but a few. Caroline refused to take responsibility, declaring that issues were the fault of night time agency staff. Her behaviour witnessed by me towards dementia sufferers also left a lot to be desired. My advice is find somewhere better, certainly until the general management issues are resolved. As I have said, all of the individuals we dealt with were amazing, dedicated and caring, however they cannot overcome the shoddy way the establishment is run.

Caroline and her amazing dedicated and professional staff get a huge thank you from our family for the way that the cared for my late father up until his recent death. Their kindness and compassion in a job not many of us would want was particularly when the resident has dimentia. Thank you for everything you did. x

My Mother Dianne Twiselton was a resident at Kibworth Court for around 9 months and the care and support that she received from all of the staff members was absolutely outstanding. All of the staff are so kind, caring and compassionate and they helped my Mum so greatly during such a difficult time for her. Very sadly my Mother passed away on 23rd July 2021 after a long battle with both Severe Dementia and Advanced Parkinson's Disease. On behalf of myself and my entire family, I would like to thank the Manager - Caroline and all of the carers and staff members at Kibworth Court for their incredible support, dedication and kindness to my Mum and us as a family. They were with us every step of the way and we could not of got through this terribly difficult time without you. Thank you so much for everything, we are eternally grateful. We moved our lovely mum to Kibworth Court last July, it was a very hard decision. Mum has Alzhimers and can be challenging at times. We have never experienced a home before lockdown and this time has been very hard for all the family especially our father. The staff at Kibworth have been absolutely amazing and we can't thank them enough for the love and care shown to not only my mum but the rest of the family as well. Great activities. Great care taken with residents. Great patience. Just GREAT all round. THANK YOU X

My mam has been in the home since August and I cant thank the staff enough for all their help and support . Not only is my mam safe and well looked after , they went above and beyond in difficult circumstances. During the pandemic, my mam has been safe due to the excellent vigilance of the manager and all the staff . I would have no hesitation in Recommending this fabulous home , A home with a heart
