Do NOT be frightened to call KMP if you are really bothered about a health query. I phoned last Friday as my husbands belly and legs had become swollen, and his breathing extremely difficult and shallow. After speaking to the receptionist, she arranged for us to be called back by a nurse. Within an hour we had seen Dr.Neave who after a very long and patient consultation, and tests, he diagnosed him with Atrial Fibrillation. He was in the QMC Urgent Trauma unit by teatime. After tests throughout the night he was transferred to the City Cardiology unit at 7am.the following day. I was told, at Queens, that if we hadnt had such quick intervention my husband would have been unlikely to last the week! SO Thank you KMP team. I am very grateful for your help. You all helped to save his life!! 5*****

Refered back for a second scan by PICS themselves went to the appointment gynocologist was very rude and abrupt interrogated me as to why i was EVEN there even though it wasnt myself who had asked for the appointment left me waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time yet persistently stating 10 minutes even though it wasnt and when i got home it had caused me to breakdown to top it off they sent me to this one istead of nottingham near where i live I left this place feeling degraded and disregarded having been made to feel i wasted their time Will not be returning Even my mom was spoke to in a rather harsh and rude tone If you have anxiety, special needs or anything as such i suggest to take someone with you as they ate not understanding at all

The staff are very good, kind and helpful! Can always get to talk to a doctor if really needed and they will always see you if needed. I just get very confused around anything to do with the pharmacy though. The set up creates this not the staff. Lots of bossy instructions posted around etc. it feels unwelcoming. I know staff are vulnerable but arent we supposed to be just getting on with things now?

Over the last 2 months I have had a number of health issues requiring frequent calls to the surgery. Every time I phoned the surgery the receptionists were extremely helpful and arranged a telephone call with a doctor later that day. I have also spoken with the pharmacist and had a session with a physiotherapist all arranged speedily after a single phone call to reception. At a time when there is so much negative reviews regarding GP surgeries and the health service in general we are lucky to have the Village Health Group looking after us in the Keyworth and surrounding areas.
