I don't want to write a long statement about my experience with this company as many have listed the issues in previous reviews. I just want to say DON'T USE THEM! If your estate agent suggests them, decline and find your own, local Conveyancer. It will be less stressful and your move will happen much faster. I will never use this company again!

Where do I start? If I could have given no stars I would! Absolutely awful company. Not very helpful, not able to be reached by phone, email, voicemail, carrier pigeon or smoke signals. Not even Purplebricks could get hold of them! These "conveyancers" were foisted upon us by Purplebricks and it took 6 months to get nowhere. In the end our buyer pulled out because in that time her financial circumstances changed. In that time we lost the perfect property for us and had to take a 4000 hit on selling for a 2nd time. The worst thing was DC Law wanted almost 1200 for this chronic "service". I wouldn't give them 1200p!

Please Please keep away from DC Law wish I had read the reviews before getting involved... If you want to lose sleep, feel anxious have your wellbeing affected join the Clowns at the DC Law circus. If you are expecting a personalised service trust me you will note get it. Not sure why they have a phone number never get an answer then you are left hanging on email replies. Had everything in place for 31st of March exchange promised by Solicitor Charlotte.Reeve-Jones then I emailed her 12pm on 31st March to have update for then another Colleague Harry Cotton informed me Charlotte is unexpectedly out of office, not for the 1st time in my time with DCLaw. Harry then asks me for a document already supplied to keep the process going.Nobody informed me until I contacted DC Law and no apology on her return from Charlotte and nearly had the process collapse again 6th April. Even our removals firm thought it would collapse worse exchange they have ever been involved in they even offered to return on Good Friday to unpack.... Only time I have spoken on the phone with Charlotte was for 1 min max for a verbal authorisation found it very hard not to basically "bollock" her for her incompetence and lack of urgency had the case start 02.08.2022 until 06.04.2023. If I behaved in my employment like her I would have been sacked in September. Chain of 3 have copies of being Cc into emails that Charlotte did not respond to requests from our solicitor, and our sellers solicitor informed me they also attempted to exchange on 31st March and nobody answers a phone. We had to break the chain to sell our property Feb 2023 then support my 86 Year old Mum with disabilities in our home until DC Law got their act together for her vacant property. Don't trust the trust pilot reviews either.Dc Law has plenty of negative reviews when you look and they are not bothered either. My buyer and seller even commented about the poor reviews which nearly made a chain of 3 collapse not sure how Dc Law cope with bigger chains. So please please please keep clear of DC Law. Only done 1 star so can post, should be zero stars

Do not use DC Law. Our sale was held up by the continued lack of response from this company. A sale which should have taken 12-18 weeks took over 36 weeks and cost both parties thousands of pounds. Beware of TrustPilot reviews!
