We really loved it there. It's peaceful, a throwback to nature, hearing the various bird sounds, and the weather was lovely. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We all (also grown ups) enjoyed the games and climbing at the end of the path. Over all it was a lovely experience, but it's expensive. Too expensive I would say. I understand that the fees also support the reserve itself, but still could be a bit cheaper.

Went with a group of friends excellent day. So much wildlife to see. We took some spectacular photos of the birds. Plenty of info about the wildlife for those that don't know. And a few surprising bits of info for those that think they know everything. Lovely covered pond full of birds offering a good look at the birds. They seem to live very happily being photographed every few minutes and are happy to move around to show their plumage. The gift shop is well stocked and the cafe has a good selection of food and drink. We did not have children in our party but from what I saw I would happily take my grandchildren. All the toilet facilities were reported to be clean. Car parking was good and not too far to walk from to the entrance. Would recommend for a day out.
