        Served by 2 disgruntled members of staff moaning about having been there for 5 hours. Terrible service and attitud,we were obviously in the way. Feel sorry for people if they expect a smile or pleasantly this was noticeably lacking.Also fed upwith having chocolate spinkle thrown all over my saucer. Very disappointing.unfriendly.

        My father used to love coming here. The restaurant was great but the beautiful park and gardens were well worth a visit.

        The girls on today, Sunday, need to up their game - barely a 'please' or 'thank you', one word answers and no apologies for getting the order wrong. Please train your staff to be polite and friendly - it creates a terrible impression otherwise.

        During school holidays, one person serving is a recipe for long queues of hot, fed up customers. The servery is a real choke-point at any time, so when busy it is almost not worth the effort. We live locally and its been this way for some time.
