Barchester - Claremont Parkway Care Home

My sister is resident at Claremont she cant communicate after a massive stroke the staff at the home are so patient with her and even take animals in to see her which she loves you can see her face light up I cant express how much this means to the whole family thank you for everything you do for us

My Dad was here for a few weeks after having a stroke 3 months after my Mum died. He passed away in hospital after the nursing team knew he was poorly. The team were amazing to him and to me and my sister during this time. He was always clean, supervised and well fed. I honestly felt so at peace that his last few weeks were spent with such a caring bunch of people. Thank you all

Lovely home and even lovelier staff. The team were very welcoming during my visit and the Manager was great when showing me around. Happy atmosphere, which was lovely to see.

My mum Carole whos suffered a severe stroke is currently in the clairmont parkway home. She has been there since December 2022. We are blown away with the level of care and support my mum gets. From the whole team who work there, nothing is to much for them. The team of carers and nurses who help my mum on a day to day basis cater for all her needs. The management have been very helpful and supportive to us as a family. The reception team are very welcoming and organised, nothing is to much trouble. We are allowed to visit when ever we want, which is 3 times a day at times. The food and cleanliness is amazing to. my mums clothes are always cleaned ironed and hung lovely. Me my wife and family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone there for your continued support. Much love The sharps x

My Dad has recently gone into the Claremont Parkway for respite care and we are very happy with the support he is receiving. He needs a lot of help and he is given this with compassion, understanding and good humour - he loves to have a joke with the staff and they jolly him along when he is in the doldrums. In fact, they have even got him joining in with some of the musical events, which is something I thought I'd never see! Beyond that the staff have arranged for him to have a trip out each week to Church and then on to lunch with my Mum, which he has really appreciated and makes such a difference given that he would really still prefer to be at home. The staff are all lovely and friendly, and very happy to help whatever the request. Altogether, very pleased with how he is being looked after, and fully appreciate that this is not an easy job.
