We honestly couldnt recommend the staff here anymore, especially Lauren. She was so lovely and really put us at ease, everything was made as easy as it possibly could be at such a difficult time in our lives. Thank you to the whole team here, you really made such a difficult time that much easier.

Such kind and caring place they allowed me to phone most days and check if I could come in and see my mum, they were so kind and caring on the phone and it was never to much for them even though I phoned a lot they also let my children decorate the coffin and kept me up to date with everything that was happening. On the day of the funeral they gave me a small gift that means so much a card, flowers and a photo book such a nice touch on such a hard day. I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for my family it means so much

RE: Willard John Lewis Funeral 22/02/2023 Scott Dinsmore and his colleagues at H J Phillips and Son provided outstanding service from the moment we contacted them after the death of our dear friend, and beyond. Scott visited us at home to discuss the funeral arrangements, and stayed in easy and regular contact in the days leading up to the funeral. He anticipated every aspect of the occasion, and saw to it that the service was fitting to our friend. We are so happy that Scott procured the services of the Reverand Paulina Hlawiczka, of the Lutheran Chuch of Paul's, Corby, who spoke so beautifully on the day. Scott's amiable, patient and considerate attitude brought great comfort in this difficult time, and we are most appreciative of his wonderful service and that of his colleagues...a splendid team. My husband died in June 2022 and we had purchased our funeral plans from Age UK six years ago. H J Phillips & Son were the nominated funeral directors and my family and I honestly couldnt have chosen a better firm. Right from the start Lauren contacted me, and my daughter and I chose a coffin and decided on a date for the funeral at Kettering crematorium. We had decided to have a non religious service and had chosen the music and poems to be read. Lauren introduced us to a Celebrant who transformed the eulogy we had prepared. The order of service sheets were printed and I had picked out two photographs to be placed on the front and back pages. We did purchase extra items, a floral display and a scatter tube for the ashes, the stationery and a recording of the service as some of our relatives couldnt attend on the day. We also had to pay the Celebrant and the doctors fee for a cremation. However, something I didnt expect, after the service Andy from H J Phillips quietly gave me a bag with a lovely plant in it and a memory box with photographs of the flowers, an order of service and some additional poems for me to add to with all the bereavement cards I have received.
