We have visited Keswick on many occasions and frequently head to The Oddfellows for good ale and great food. So when we planned my wife's 40th Birthday we couldn't think of a better place to celebrate with family and friends. Rachael and her team were more than accommodating and kindly offered to let us hold a private party. Unfortunately due to problems with staffing they didn't have a chef but if they hadn't of told us we would have never known! The service we received was second to none and even more impressive after discovering their staffing issues. We couldn't of asked for a better evening, Rachael and her team were fantastic! Safe to say precious memories were made.

We had a table booked for my moms 60th birthday for 6 adults and 3 children. We had email confirmation back in February to confirm this. It was only off chance my mom popped by this week 12th April and saw a notice to say kitchen closed. When she came in to ask she was told that she never received a booking confirmation and the kitchen was in face closed. If as a family we had turned up for our booking we would have all been left very hungry and with 3 small children this would have caused big issues. Disappointing!
