Millfield

Fantastic. It's a well-appointed, clean, spacious and beautiful Georgian building with modern facilities and recent new wings. The staff are amazing. They will do anything for residents, they are friendly and professional and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The food is superb. Most is prepared daily by the home's chefs/cooks, and there's adequate choice for each meal. I came here almost straight out of hospital, and the difference between their meals and Millfield's is quite staggering. At Millfield you get carrots, the hospital gives you orange circles without flavour. Millfield cooks the fish perfectly, be it baked or whatever, with a really top notch sauce. Hospital version is papier mache....in a pool of water. Enough eulogies. I'm here for a fortnight respite. I would move in if I could. Oh, and it's set in one of the world's most beautiful places!
