        For fishing advice in the local the proprietor is a font of knowledge he has a great selection of end tackle and baits when I was in the other day we had a good chat about fishing spoilt when the wife came in and chased me home . I've been visiting his shop for 8 years and don't intend to stop.

        One of the few old-style, low-tech shops left these days, run by an older gentleman who is probably the original owner. As you might expect, it's friendly and personal service. I can't vouch for the fishing gear - but they do sell mint cake! :-) Why not spend your money here rather than at a soulless 'chain' corner shop?

        I've given this person 1 star because he actually answered the phone. Don't buy anything as gifts from this man if on holiday, because he won't replace it or refund your money and he's very rude and ignorant and obviously quite happy to take your money for shoddy goods.
