        We are a group of friends who enjoy walking and have just returned from our second visit to Borrowdale house (we are already planning our return). It's an ideal base for peak bagging in the Lakes, or just a relaxing break. You're surrounded by beautiful views and all the shops, bars and amenities are a 5 minute walk away. Borrowdale is extremely spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped, making it the perfect place to return to and recharge your batteries after a long day in the hills. Jocelyn the host is very friendly and communication is excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting the Lake District.
