Greta Hall was the perfect place for a creative gathering of musicians, artists and authors. We spent two days in this sumptuous house enjoying the period decor, wood fires, spacious rooms, and soaking up the historic vibes. Everyone instantly felt at home here. It was ideally placed for our group walk - we could walk to Derwent water easily and catch a boat across the lake to begin our walk up Cat Bells and then all the way home again. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. It is in an ideal location - close to the shops and close to the countryside, yet in a little nook of its own tucked away at the top of the hill. Jeronime was extremely friendly and helpful in advance and during our stay. What a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the Lakes, such a find. A big thank you to Jeronime from everyone in our group.
