Pitcairn House

Heather and Steven are amazing hosts. Everyone in the house is personally taken care of. The rooms are exquisite, nicely decorated with all the basics readily available. Expect excellent full english breakfasts - you can choose what you want each day and Heather will make it exactly to your taste. Also, there are cereals, fruits, juices - perfect! You might even be provided with homemade flapjacks for you hikes! The accommodation is in ideal location, close to town centre while totally quiet at the same time. The only issue I've run into is that water in Keswick has a lot of chlorine in it. This obviously has nothing to do with Pitcairn House in particular. In case you are susceptible to it, make sure to leave the tap water sit still for a while until it evaporates.

Lovely guest house, Heather and Steve were very welcoming. Good little yard out the back where I could park my motorcycle off the street, they even offered me a chain and ground anchor. They upgraded my room free of charge prior to arrival, as there was a nicer one available that meant I didn't have to lug all my bags up to the top floor. Full of nice touches, like fresh milk for the in-room tea/coffee, and free homemade delicious flap jacks. Good breakfast too, and great location just 2 minutes from the town centre. Would definitely stay again.
