Lynwood Guest House

We spent 2 nights here last weekend and can't fault it. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from the town. There's no parking in front of the guest house, but we parked just metres away in a side road. We were given a friendly welcome at the front door and shown straight to our room. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and equipped with all the basics. We particularly appreciated the generous supply of coffee, tea and biscuits. We had 2 wonderful nights sleep in a comfortable bed and quiet room. This was followed by an excellent, freshly cooked breakfast of our choice. This will definitely be our where we stay the next time we're in Keswick. Walkability: About half a mile from the town centre. Close enough to be convenient but far enough away to be wonderfully quiet.

Awful hosts awful breakfast hosts lacked social skills made me feel that both could not be bothered and was putting them both out I guess Paul did try at breakfast but at times felt uncomfortable..I booked room 3 well in advance but on arrival was put in room 2 really disappointed but could not be bothered conforting the host after paying 190 for two nights I felt I was short changed by the owners and would not recommend this b&b to any..by far the worst place I have stayed in keswick due to the lack of customer care...I got a feeling that this place has been sold on and both are just cracking on with a lack of customer care
