Absolutely amazing service! We love this shop and always pop in when we are in the area and manage to find an array of things that you just cant do without . Rang them to find out the name of a product I bought years ago & although no longer stocked they were able to tell me the brand - it pays to support local businesses !

A well stocked shop, right at the entrance of Keswick on lake road from Derwent Water and also from the main carpark. Right in front of Fell Pack restaurant and an ice cream shop. Very busy road. I went in a couple of times as my heart was set on a delightfully crafted leather bag I saw on their street display window, on the 1st day off our week holiday there. And after comparing prices and quality in other shops, I returned to Fine Designs. Informed the shop owner that I was really in 2 minds about 2 or 3 of the items with an intention to definitely buy 1. And she kept my selection at the till while I browsed further and waited for my husband to join me. In the end I selected a smaller handbag with organiser pockets and inside zipped sections, which is lighter than the original item that attracted me to the shop, yet with the same beautiful leather scent, thickness of material, polishing and well finished details... I'm not only made up with my item, which is worth every penny , but the accommodating and polite manner of the owner was respectful and patient. This enabled me to purchase my beautiful bag. Thank you and we will be back again!
