The Keswick Cheese Deli

Popped into the deli for some local cheeses to take home after a weekend in the Lakes. Excellent choice & service. Really enjoyed the produce and hope that they prosper to please many more customers for years to come. Such shops are too rare. Their producers deserve outlets for their products.

Spent the last week of August in Keswick, we were looking for a gift for my daughter and her partner. We went into this lovely shop and i had no idea what to get. The lovely lady that served up and helped us pick the cheeses and chutneys so helpful. She obviously chose well for us as our daughter and partner loved everything, their only complaint was they wanted more.

Charming and knowledgable staff. A fantastic selection of cheeses and associated paraphernalia (biscuits and the like). And they also sell cake!! Great little shop.

The true grit is honestly one of the best cheeses Ive ever tasted! However, the only aspect that would get this place that extra star is if they did tasters/try before you buy and I expect I would have bought more!
