Stayed just this last weekend, from Friday 2nd to 5th September. Just the perfect location. The owners Kate and James are a lovely welcoming couple as is their hotel B&B. Our room at the top of the building was light and airy with small ensuite toilet and shower. Had all the usual accompanying kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Real mugs for your brew . A small fridge was available on one of the floors to deposit any chilled drinks or food. This also contained small jugs of milk and bottles of water. The room also served as a drying room for clothing and shoes which was a great touch too. Breakfast was selected on a menu sheet to be deposited by 8pm the previous day. Excellent choices including full breakfast as required. Extra additional items could also be selected as an alternative. I opted for smashed avocado with hint of chilli and lemon served on some excellent thick granary toast with a poached egg, divine. My partner opted for the full breakfast from the choices he'd made. Again beautifully presented and very tasty. As another lovely little touch, cake or cookies were home baked and made available free for guests. Yum!! All in all our stay was made that little bit more special by the warm hospitality received from Kate and James. A brilliant stay.
