Seven Oaks Guest House

Just left Seven Oaks after a lovely Easter bank holiday stay. Marie and Mark were very welcoming and had lots of recommendations for walks and places to eat. The room was immaculate, we even had fresh homemade cake each day and an Easter egg on arrival. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices, the cooked breakfast was fab. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again. Thanks so much , Antony & Robynn.

10/10 B&B. The location was ideal in walking distance to the town centre. The rooms were well-equipped, clean and came with a fresh slice of cake delivered everyday. The breakfast was epic, especially the pancakes. Mark and Marie were also the best hosts, super considerate and lovely people who gave us much needed navigation advice for our walks. Best place I've stayed at the lakes.

We stayed with friends and Mark and Marie were the loveliest hosts, chefs and guides you could ask for and their B&B is just incredible - comfortable, clean and so so friendly. They go above and beyond and we couldn't be more grateful. We LOVED breakfast and homemade cake, just wishes we could have stayed longer to try every option. Already planning next trips! Thank you Mark, Marie, and Ruby for the cuddles.

All too often people use phrases such as "going above and beyond" and "putting in 110%" to describe something but this is exactly how I would describe my 2 night stay at Seven Oaks Guest house. Marie and Mark are absolutely outstanding hosts and even went to the trouble of drawing maps of local mountain paths and allowing us to borrow a water bottle too. To say that we were well fuelled for our expedition is an understatement, the breakfasts were sublime. The rooms were very well proportioned, clean and better yet a little surprise slide of home made cake made an appearance each and every day, it is small things like this that set Seven Oaks apart from other places I've stayed, even in Keswick. I really want to try the rest of the breakfast menu but fully expect that it will soon be very hard to make a booking and for good reason! Thank you Mark and Marie for a wonderful stay.
