        Nearby activities: Lots to do nearby walking distance to village that has a lovely market Thurs and Saturday and just a short drive to many other lovely places Safety: Went out walking nearby with my daughter every night during our stay and felt totally safe and at ease Walkability: Just a ten min walk into the village Food & drinks: Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance

        I recently stayed at Skiddaw Grove, in the Squirrel bank apartment, upon arrival I was greeted warmly by Diane, the accommodation was exceptionally clean, homely and welcoming with a fantastic view of Skiddaw. The kitchen had everything required plus a dishwasher and a washing machine in the bathroom. The lounge was large with very comfortable seating, a decent sized TV and an electric organ. The shower was excellent and my bed very comfortable. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool. It was a lovely stay and I would certainly like to stay there again.
