Claremont House

Just got back from a fabulous 2 night stay at Claremont House, Sarah was a fabulous host so friendly and very accomodating, rooms very clean and comfortable bed, everything you need with attention to detail, Sarah let us leave our car before check in so we could go for a walk, on arrival she had made scones and tea which was much appreciated, homemade bread rolls at breakfast and huge breakfast biggest breakfast we've ever had and we've stayed in a lot of b&b's, we asked for smaller portions for next day, which was excellent, it's a bit of a walk into town with fabulous views but downhill so it was okay, we got taxis both nights to bring us back, a really enjoyable stay with a lovely host. Just had a 4 day stay here and a lovely place to stay ,great welcome from Sarah ,and nice home made biscuits and coffee, room was nice and spacious clean and comfortable bed ,great breakfast and plenty of it ,other choices on menu ,good location at top of chestnut hill ,short walk into keswick 15 mins ,private car park and secure ,great place to stay and felt it was home from home ,thank you sarah

This B&B was lovely, the host, Sarah, made the stay even better with great service and little homely touches (cake and tea on arrival and freshly made bread some mornings). Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with everything you'd need for a little break away. Would highly recommend and would definitely consider visiting again in the future.

A warm fa.ily welcome as we arrived. Sarah and John were great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Sarah's food and cooking are brilliant, be ready for big portions. The porridge was my favourite. Room had fantastic views of the local hills. All clean an tidy with lots of welcoming goodies to eat and drink. One of our best new year's in Keswick. I would highly recommend the Claremont to you too. There is also self catering facilities attached too if you want more I dependence.

We absolutely loved staying at Claremont House. Me and my parter stayed for two nights and we both agreed it was the best place we have stayed at in the UK. The Breakfast was amazing, the room was perfect and the views were incredible. Definitely recommend staying here if youre visiting the Lake District. Thanks again, Nealsen and Heather.
