Balmoral Apartment

Lovely and clean everything you needed. Lovely views from Windows. The 63 steps were easy to climb and we are not youngster. Will go again

Had to pay more because we brought a dog, dispite it was advertised as 'pets allowed'. This was neither signposted by the host or detailed on the listing. On arrival, my card was scanned but no pin or authorisation - yet they took more than had been agreed online without authorisation. Very poor! In terms of the apartment, it was small which was fine. A lot of stairs up from road level, which for us in our thirties was fine - but be aware if you don't fancy a four storey climb! On the plus side, there were great views from the windows! There was hair and hair bobbles from a previous guest in the shower and the mattress was old and uncomfortable. The flusher on the toilet was broken which I fixed myself. A big plus of this flat is the location. Right in between the town centre and the lake.
