This place is warm, well-equipped and suitably remote to make it feel like a real escape from everyday life. We hired the Barracks, which sleeps 20 (in 4 bedrooms) and had a fantastic weekend in the hills. The track is only suitable for vehicles with high clearance so some of us hiked in from Kentmere (30 - 40 mins fairly flat walk). We found it to be very clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay but when we stayed there things weren't cleaned, especially the kitchen and upstairs. Lights in the toilets were broken, the kitchen wasn't organised. However, there was a lot of space for everyone, fit pit was great and beds were comfy. Views were amazing and the walks. Bit painful driving up the track.

So you have two buildings here, one slightly bigger than the other. Both can sleep multiple people and have toilets, showers and a kitchen each. There is power, gas and heating all on site. There's even a satellite phone as there is no reception up here. Lots of nice walks from here. The track is very tricky to pass in a vehicle something to be aware of.
