Speaking Sense - Childrens Speech and Language Therapy

I cannot recommend Hannah highly enough. I consider myself lucky that her details were passed to me by a friend! My (now) four year old has made so much progress over the three months Hannah has worked with us. She plans engaging activities, and you can clearly see how one session progresses on from the last. My son loved doing practice at home with the ideas we were given from our fortnightly sessions. The waiting list for the NHS is very long; paying for extra speech and language sessions was absolutely the right decision for us. Relatives and friends have commented on how far my sons speech has come on, and I have seen his confidence boosted too. Thank you, Hannah.

Hannah was absolutely brilliant with our 4 (and later 5) year old; she has a great way to make her coaching fun so he really enjoyed her sessions which took place both at her classroom and also at his school where she would visit. His speech has improved massively as a result and we are very pleased with the results. We would highly recommend Hannah & Speaking Sense.

Hannah was absolutely brilliant with my son. When he started sessions with Hannah his language delay was impacting his friendships and ability to fully emerge himself in school life. Within 6 months he was a completely different child. He is now full of confidence, with a growing friendship group and he loves going to school. I would highly recommend Hannah.

We took our son to see Hannah just after he turned 3 as his speech wasn't great and teachers/family members were really struggling to understand him which was causing him to become really frustrated. The NHS waiting list was nearly 2 years so we chose to go private and I am so glad we did and that we found Hannah as our speech therapist. Hannah did absolute wonders with him, 12 months of speech therapy and his speech has come on fabulously. The amount of friends/family that comment on how well he speaks now and that they can understand him now is great to hear as a parent. A school teacher reviewed his speech a year after she initially did and she was really shocked on how far and well he had come on. His teacher told me at the start of the year that he would struggle to reach his school targets....but he did!! If you are looking for a speech therapist I would highly recommend Hannah, she was great with our son and invaluable to his speech development and confidence. As parents we are really grateful for Hannah's hard work and help with our sons speech therapy.

Hannah has really helped us to understand our sons speech difficulties and given us practical ways to support him at home and help to engage him with speech therapy in a fun way.
