The team in particular Shane and Alex were fantastic. They made a moving as stress free as it could possibly be. They were friendly, considerate and extremely hardworking. Thoroughly recommend this company, from first contact with Sam for the quotation to signing off the completed move with Shane and Alex the team were professional, considerate, friendly and effective for the whole move. Would definitely recommend this company for moving.

To 'give clarity' to a misleading response, the removal reviewed below was first cancelled when our house purchase fell through and reinstated when it was revived. Hobdens did reimburse us first time. Then, when our new exchange of contracts was delayed, very stressfully, they legitimately deducted 33% of our money but still said 'Yes' to our new date, kept the 66% as a deposit, and let us down by giving the date to someone else without informing us. We had to spend more than twice as much on procuring removals at short notice. Please draw your own conclusions.

Highly recommend this company. The team of 3 movers were super friendly & so efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Just what was needed on a very stressful day.

Absolutely appalling service by Hobdens. We feel very let down. We paid several thousand pounds for a move with them but they took another job and left us in trouble at the last minute without any removals in place. They have only partially refunded us and refuse to give us all our money back. I would NOT recommend using them. Appalling customer service. This is what they say about themselves "We care about the business we do, we have built our reputation with high quality service. We are a removals company you can trust.". They do not WALK the TALK. Do not trust them. A RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE Despite the owners evasive response, they did let us down badly. Its true that we had to cancel and they reimbursed us when our sale fell through. Then, when it was back on, our exchange of contracts was delayed by a medical emergency. We had to change dates and Hobdens deducted 33% of our fees (already paid in full). However, they said Yes to our new dates, kept the 66% as a guarantee and then allocated the dates to other business without informing us. We were left in the lurch ten days before a big move and had to spend more than twice as much to procure removals at short notice. Please draw your own conclusions.
