John Taylor Funeralcare

My dear Nan passed away from covid in January 2021. We were scheduled to see her at job Taylor's funeral home an we completely understood that due to covid it was to be a closed coffin ..but when we arrived there we was met by the staff, the staff were in there normal clothes somewhat creased an in ironed.the one lady was very unsympathetic an quite abrupt. On going in I was absolutely shocked to what we witnessed..my poor Nan was pushed up against two bowing doors..She was on a gurney with a dirty old blanket type rug, there was one old picture on the wall, no tissues,, no flowers,, no candles, the ceiling had dirty marks on it an it was freezing an I mean freezing!!! It was a disgrace an very upsetting as being in the mist off covid we hadn't seen her in 4 weeks due to her being in hospital.so to off had our last goodbyes in this environment has made such a sad impact on us .. I took pictures off what we faced which I will attach so some people might find this distressing.. I've waited to do this review for some months now as I have a clearer head as when it happened I was inconsolable, Not only did this happen but other things happened, after we left I called the funeral home an asked them to remove my late Nan from there care as I deemed it disgraceful they did so an moved her to there kenilworth home..an wow what a difference..we was met by a lovely lady called Stef, she was in her suit an she looked every bit a smart an presentable lady. Stef was absolutely amazing An she did everything an more that we asked for, my Nan was in a beautiful room, candles, flowers, low lighting..an I thank them for that. But the 1st Images in the Leamington home will be imprinted in my mind forever.. I don't want another family to witness what we did.. Avoid this Leamington funeral home at all costs!

Our family was extremely pleased with the handling and organising of our late mums funeral on Wednesday 10th February 2021. Nikki couldn't do enough for our last wishes. Sorting the obituary, printing the Order of Service, etc, all went smoothly. Steve phoned me the day before to check any last minute additions, but there were none. He met us at the door and walked us through it all. Afterwards he led us out, brought the flowers and unused Order of Service out to us. He was so sincere and caring, he is definitely in the right job, as said by my daughter. Thankyou for guiding us through this sad time.
