I had a horrible experience at this vets practice last year, not once but twice. I had a payment plan for a dog that was payed off in full, however when my other dog was severely ill they refused to help him by offering the same. He had diarrhoea and a temperature on the1st examination, and antibiotics were not even recommended even though I could have afforded them at the initial consultation, it was simply the further tests that would have been a stretch. I returned the following week to have him sadly put down, and requested a sedative to make the experience for him less traumatic. I was told this would take too much time and it was denied, with no thought as to the welfare of the animal at all.. Ive since registered with another practice who are amazing. Some of the vets at this practice are great, but its clearly not so across the board. Im only writing this now as the whole experience was too traumatic to comment earlier.

Very helpful staff particularly the vet nurse ( Isobel??apologies if it's wrong name) who kindly advised us about our Bichon's post op wound and helped us find some bootees to help protect it . This was a last minute appointment and they took us in immediately .Much appreciated

Normally upto recently the service has been great at these vets, until my last visit when I took my poor sick dog. This vet didn't do much at all. My fur baby had already been very ill for a few days, loss weight, and all I got was to wait a few more days then to return. I feel this vet has forgotten it's about the animals, and was just trying to get more money. It's shameful this vet expects me to wait until my dog gets severely worse before doing something.
