Dja Surveyors

I'd give it no start but there's no option to do so. They were extremely quick in response prior to payment, then no communication until I had to chase them up by three emails in the following week after the supposed survey date. And then I was told that David did the survey but is unable to produce a report in the foreseesable future. I asked whether we could get an initial/informal thought of the property since we are cash buyers and don't need a formal report, they refused this solution. I asked whether someone else in the company could transcribe David's survey notes in his absence or simply give us a call to talk to us, no reply. If they were worth 1 start, it would be for their offer of a refund, which was after wasting us 6 weeks, leaving us in a very difficult position with the seller due to the delay! I wish I saw the Google Reviews before hiring them, and I wish whoever is thinking about hiring them can see the reviews and know better! PS: reading the other reviews, I somehow feel like I've dodged a bullet that they couldn't produce a report......!!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We instructed this surveyor to do a homebuyer report which he agreed to do. 2 weeks later estate agents contacted us saying they had no communication from them. So after a few phone calls we recieved an email saying that he couldn't do the survey until a later date He explained that they had forgotten to book are appointment in. No attempt to fit us in sooner. UNRELIABLE

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This individual produced a full survey report, on my house, in about 10 minutes. The rest of the time (20 mins) he spent talking about himself. His client gave me a copy of his report, a great deal of it was badly cut and pasted, and bore no resemblance to my property. For example he said there was woodworm in the roof timbers, yet he did not examine any roof timbers. I could go on. Interestingly I was contacted very recently by a young couple who had exactly the same experience with this individual as I did, their sale fell through. An Estate Agent I spoke to admitted that this individual came into their office and asked if a survey was infact necessary as the owners were out. So in my humble opinion if you intend to employ this man caveat emptor, you get what you pay for.
