Brewery Pre-School

The Brewery Preschool is a small nursery with 2-3 educators and 6-10 kids attending daily. It was perfect for us as I felt my little one was not ready for a large pre-school and here he got a smooth transition and lots of 1:1 attention. We managed to settle without ANY tears! I love the variety of skills that children learn - the very first thing my little one (aged 2) brought back was a strawberry tart, one of the many they made that day. Besides cooking there is a lot of writing, letter recognition, counting, social skills and fun activities outside - bikes, slides, scooters, sand and water play Assessments every half a year are really helpful - I would not have known that we had to work on managing emotions, now it is a conscious effort for me as a mum. I also love the fact there is no telly at all but there is a lot of books reading going on!

The Brewery preschool is a very special place. Every child is cared for and respected as an individual. The teachers go out of their way to make sure not only the children are happy but so are the parents. The setting is small so the children get all the attention and education that they would receive from a childminder, but they also interact with more children of their own age. They feel safe, comfortable and happy there. I have seen both my two transform from babies into confident children and I can't thank the Brewery enough for this. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thanks Lizz and Bronte for all your hard work it is appreciated!
