        Great little haberdashery/ sewing stall in Kendal market where you can more or less get anything sewing related. I went in for some material to create a Christmas grotto in my garage and Faye couldn't have been more helpful. Not being a sewer myself, she was great, advising me on the best(and cheapest) way to achieve what I wanted. Got some fantastic sparkly sequin material which appealed to my magpie/Gollum tendencies! Also a useful source of leather laces and offcuts etc which my husband uses in his leather work. Refreshing to find a proper traditional market stall selling these things at very reasonable prices. A pleasure to shop there.
