Do not use this company under any circumstances. They pulled out less than a week before our event, which we paid in full for months prior. They said that they could not afford to pay us back upon their cancelation and suggested a payment plan. Luckily we were able to book another medical company last minute, Community First Aid Corps, who provided a great service and at a lower price. We are still awaiting reimbursement from Lakes Medics.

Fraudster. Sells items from the business and wants payment into his personal bank account. Blocks you when you ask for tracking details, and then posts some rubbish from his shed thats nothing at all like what was ordered. Has convictions for fraud and death by dangerous driving, and shouldnt be anywhere near the healthcare sector

I undertook a contract with Lakes Medics and they have taken all of the money from the Client and not paid me what I am owed for doing all of the work. I was the Medic on-site and working 13+ hour days 5/6 days a week, over a 4 week period, yet they have refused to pay me. I've had multiple different reasons for why they wont pay: The first reason was due to the Client allegedly making a complaint about my professional conduct... this was swiftly disproven as the Client provided me with confirmation that this was not true and I have continued the contract whilst Lakes Medics have been kicked off the contract due to their exploitation efforts. Secondly, when it was disproven that the Client had put a complaint against me, an unknown entity had put a complaint against me. Lakes Medics refuse to tell me who this mysterious entity is, but again, all departments have provided amazing feedback regards my standard of work. The third reason they provided was that the Client had not paid them and so they were not paying me. Again, the Client has provided me with evidence that they have in fact been paid, in full, yet they still refuse to pay me. The fourth reason is that they now dispute the amount of money they owe me. Even though it is explicitly provided within the contract that we all signed. Do NOT work for these Con Men as you will not be paid for your services. Please do not engage with this company who still practice modern day slavery!

We provided sub-contractor medical services for this business. The feedback received by the Client was amazing, we had gone 'above and beyond' and provided the best service they had received from a medical company. Unfortunately though, Mr Dawkins-Gray took all of the money from the contract and paid us a very small portion of what was owed (some 20%). He gave the excuse that the Client had complained about our professionalism.... yet the Client retained our services and got rid of Lakes Medics. Sadly this matter has escalated and we are owed over 7,000.00 by this company. Reading through the other reviews on google and facebook, it is clear that Matthew Dawkins Gray has been convicted of 33 charges of fraud and 1 charge of money laundering totalling nearly 200K along with another charge of death by dangerous driving. How an individual with a criminal history of 35 guilty convictions is working in the healthcare sector is baffling. Very clearly still trying to defraud people of money by false representation due to not paying the agreed contract.
