Steve Taplin used to write the 2yo Guide for many years and when he passed away there was a huge gap in the market. Step forward an old hand with some new blood (hope he doesnt mind me saying that) as Dan Briden joined the Marten Julian stable. This is now the third year of the 2yo Guide and it has continued the Taplin years and even improved in certain areas. Having someone like Marten Julian oversee can only help and the quality of the book and upgrades for names is incredible. There are so many 2yo pedigrees to get your teeth into and Dans opinions and words from the trainers are invaluable. At 20 for the number of horses in this book is outstanding value and it also helps when Dan pops on to Twitter (@DanBriden)to mention the odd one that he is looking forward to seeing the next day or in the coming week. Hes not usually far off the mark either!

The Two Year Old Guide 2022 - Marten Julian, written by Dan Briden. Probably the most useful and valuable books Ive ever bought. Fantastic insight into horses stats that I never knew existed, its clear after reading a few pages that a lot of time and effort of research went into publishing this book. Good thing I like about it is that the information about the horses will still be relevant after a year or two maybe even longer. I have mine sitting out at hand cause theres always something thatll catch my eye when reading it, even if its only 10mins a day reading. Thank-You. Ill be looking at buying another book from the website again soon!

This my 2nd year I've bought Dan Briden's Two Year Old Guide. It truly pays for it self. So much information, interviews from trainers and bloodstock agents. Marten's Favourites. There's been so many winners from this book already. Plus I'm learning more each year. 5 stars again. A book I'll continue looking forward and purchasing. Well done all.

I personally enjoy researching the breeding of newcomers but my knowledge in this field pales into insignificance when it comes to Dan Briden. He and his publications and posts on this subject are amazing.
