just thought i would write a review about this fabulous salon that i have been going to for years .I have just seen another review which i think Is totally exaggerated and unfair to the salon as it is just one person view .For many years i have been having full body waxes before i go on my holiday i have a quite thick hair and lots of it ,the therapist i always have is amazing i help her along when she asks me to pull the skin ,maybe the last reviewer who was upset did not work with the therapist when ask to in certain areas where it tends to be more fleshier ,we all will never know ,but please pay this salon a visit it is the best i have been to and the staff are so professional and experts in what they do .It disgruntles when i read reviews of just one person that could not be entirely true and people always take note of a negative review then all the positives Sometimes things do happen in salons even in high end or therapists who have been doing it for years we are only human we can not be perfect all the time ,but obviously therapists are not going to admit to any mishaps they have done ,they are just going to make you feel bad of the therapist you visited which is so wrong of them ,sorry to ramble on i just feel this review is very unfair to such a great salon ,who have only had amazing reviews. I E-MAILED THEM REGARDING LEAVING A REVIEW ON THERE FACEBOOK THEY SAID THERE HAD BEEN SOME TAMPERING AND THEY WERE LOOKING INTO GETTING THERE REVIEWS BAR PUT BACK ON BUT WAS WAITING FOR E-BAYS RESPONSE TO WHY THIS HAD HAPPEN SO 1* REVIEWER I DO NOT THINK IT IS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU ,JUST TECHNOLOGY. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON KENDAL BEAUTY XXXX

I have thought twice about writing this review, but i feel that this experience is something that no-one else should go through. I initially left this review on facebook, and instead of contacting me directly, she chose to hide the reviews tab on her facebook page. Friday 30th June, i visited Kendal Beauty for waxing treatment, I started with eyebrows and worked our way down. The attention to detail on eyebrows I cannot fault and a good job was done. I have been waxing for 10+ years now so i knew what to expect on the day. I dont know what went wrong or even how it went so wrong, but my right underarm skin was red raw by the end of the day and my skin had come away. On my arms i had bruising from where the wax had not been pulled correctly. My left inner thigh was so badly bruised it was tender to touch, and whilst it was healing started to peel. The bruising to my thigh was instant and as soon as the wax strip had been pulled i knew it would bruise. No stretching of the skin, nothing. Although apologetic, a little insulting by telling me it was a very fleshy area and thats why it resulted into bruising....yet I've never experienced that from elsewhere. I even had bruising in places that are difficult to bruise, for example my ankle. My bikini area......I cant even express the pain i felt during the waxing, (which i then told her to stop waxing) and then after, as the day had gone on my skin had become more and more raw, and was very sensitive to touch. I was on holiday from the 1st July, and due to the bruising and the soreness I had to stay covered up, let alone the low confidence i felt due to the state i looked in. I probably should have spoken to the salon directly, however due to being away I didnt have the option there and then, and feel its too late to speak to her now. Finally, I have spoken to 3 highly experienced Beauticians who have all said this should never have happened and there is no excuse for it to have happened.
