I have found Sam to be friendly, efficient, sympathetic and very reasonably priced indeed. He is efficient, without being hurried and takes a reflective and thorough look at issues, while dealing with them very promptly when required. I have occasionally been unsure when to contact him, but when he's out or not working that day, his delightful (sounding) wife generally is, so no delay is incurred. Unlike some architects, Sam does not impose his views, but listens to the clients' requirements and produces what works best. His relationship with the other professionals with whom he works (for example, planning officers) is also very good (as far as the client can tell).
