The Barns at Friars Court

We have just returned from our 4 day stay at the Barns, and can't wait to return! We were a party of 18; 12 adults and 6 children under 5. The barns were perfect, we booked out all three. We had everything we needed, Hugh chairs, more than enough beds and toddler beds/travel cots. Waking up to the chickens pootling around in the courtyard, playing boules on the fields, being able to go and see the cattle and run through the corn fields were some of the highlights. Beds are huge, and comfortable, and the barns are furnished to a really high standard. The granary in particular is stunning upstairs, we didn't end up using the area at all because we all based our communal time in the Cowshed, which has a fabulous kitchen area with island. We can't thank Kate and her family enough for answering all our questions straight away, leaving the lovely cake, veg and biscuits along with the drinks which was a lovely unexpected touch. Can't wait to return!
