I spoke to Mat and explained I was interested in one of his vans. I live 200 miles away and said it would be a long travel for me but the van pictures looked good. I was on holiday keeping him updated with when my finance application was ready which was when I get back off holiday I get back Thursday and contact him letting him know its all in place and if I could go down Saturday he said all good. I booked my flight down and contacted him Friday to ask him to send any pictures of any marks there were on the van just so there was so surprises on collection day, few minutes later I get a call of him saying he isnt going to sell to me no longer and to go else where. My finance contacted him to see what was going on he said I ask to my questions. Am I wrong to want to make sure that it was as good in person as it was on the video considering I was travelling so far? Customer service went from good to appalling he then blocked my number and I was left with a flight I paid and unable to get the money back for cancellation. This made me then think did I have a lucky escape from buying that van? There mustve been something wrong with it that he didnt want to point out to where if he never told me not to go down that I wouldve been pressured into buying the van if there was problems I couldnt see. I would definitely advice anyone thats travelling far to this place to avoid and go elsewhere.
