Daniel was initially instructed to set up a private pension for myself however subsequently following numerous years of exceptional service my wife has now set up a private pension for Daniel to oversee. Danial is a professional individual with a comprehensive knowledge in all areas of pensions and investments. Daniel has the can do attitude and with whatever we have thrown at him nothing has been too much trouble. We looking forward to working with Daniel for many years to come.

Daniel has been advising me since January 2019. He delivers his advice in clear, simple words that helped me to understand my options for collecting together a number of legacy pensions and quickly removed the anxieties I had around the pensions. He then implemented the recommendations that I accepted, to create a self-invested personal pension (SIPP). He helped me to assess my ticking over need for income, and advised the likely effects of taking different lump sums and income streams on the lifetime performance of the SIPP. He then implemented withdrawals from the SIPP that I asked for based on his advice. My wife and I have annual review meetings with Daniel which are always a great pleasure. We talk over any changes to our financial circumstances, review our attitude to financial risk, and discuss any changes to the SIPP investment portfolio. He has a number of financial tools with which he can quickly run what if scenarios to demonstrate the likely effects of proposed changes to portfolio or income, based on different external factors shocks in the wider economy and so on. He has a calming way of advising against knee-jerk reactions to falls in market values which may only serve to crystallise what usually are just temporary losses. The SIPP comes with an App, so that we can see its performance at any time. However, Daniel discourages us from looking at it too often. He says that it is his job to worry about the investments, and that we should be getting on enjoying our retirement. I am very happy with the help, advice and service that Daniel has given us, and at the time of writing (January 2023), I hope that he will be able to continue to work with us for the foreseeable future.

Daniel has been advising me for a few years now and to use him is definitely a very good decision. I retired in 2020 and approached Daniel prior to this as I needed sound pension advice. What I love about Daniel is that he explains things very simply and takes the headache out of what decisions I need to make. If I was trying to work it all out by myself I would be going around in circles forever and a day and sweating over everything. Daniel takes the worry away which allows me to enjoy my retirement.
