Coach & Horses

Just wanted to congratulate the owners on their recent management change. This was (until recently) a lovely, friendly, welcoming pub with a nice variety of regulars. It's now gone back to being full of drunk men, half of the tellys showing rugby (even if nobody wants to watch it), people taking over large areas (see rugby above), making people feel unwelcome. Basically, the pub has gone back to a much worse time, fine if you want to watch the horse racing with the sound blaring though. Such a shame and a wasted opportunity after the last, fun couple of years.

Friendly staff. Quite busy and a little noisy. The live music was setting up so I would imagine it gets quite lively. But it's a sports bar so a few televisions around. Had a couple of drinks.

This went downhill quickly! Empty when I arrived and other than 3 drunk older gentleman it didn't really pick up. Seems there is a new landlord and if my visit was anything to go by, this isn't a good thing. Did nothing but insult the previous landlady. Beer is still good and a reasonable price hence 2 stars, but other than that I'd give it a swerve.
