Kentish Homecare

Due to my work commitments, I employed the services of Kentish Homecare some 6 months ago for my elderly mother who was finding it difficult to do daily tasks like meal preparation, light housework and personal requirements; With the focus on to help her to maintain her independence by continuing to live in the comfort and surroundings of her own home, rather than move into a care home. The care she has received from the staff at Kentish Homecare is outstanding and beyond the call of duty. My mothers lifestyle has now completely changed, and she looks forward to the regular daily visits from the team of friendly carers. I was a bit dubious about home care services before making the decision, But have to give Kentish Homecare 5 stars for all the continued help they have given my mother and myself.

One review for Kentish Homecare so far, 5 stars but this was written by the then manager of the agency. The truth is to work for kentish Homecare you will be paid at less than the national {not London} wage 7.83 an hour for a lot of your calls. Then you are expected to pay for your own transport and time between clients. But what is worse than this is that our carer coming on Christmas day will have walk 5 miles to get here because there is no public transport and the agency refuse to make any provision for her.. The carer is good and dedicated. The owner is greedy and selfish paying last Christmas Day an extra 1.18 an hour for working this day. No stars from me.
