Parking: The parking is to the rear of the Tea Room and can get busy. There are no parking spaces per se it's just parking sensibly to get as many people in without restricting access. There were about 6 cars when we arrived, you could probably fit no more than 10. The country lanes surrounding the Tea Room aren't really suitable for parking so many walk from further away. Wheelchair accessibility: The ground is uneven through the car park so whilst it's difficult it's still manageable (just). The outside picnic tables are easier to use than inside the Tea Room. Some are on uneven ground but there are flat ground tables tucked around the side of the building. The entrance/exit door is narrow but I'm sure the staff would help accommodate getting you in and seated at a suitable table. It's always incredibly busy so accessibility is restricted. It's down to the amount of people hovering around than anything else, particularly near the counter where it's a struggle to pass each other.

Visited the Old Reading Room Tea Room when visiting family. One of us had one of the really nice cakes on sale which she really enjoyed and the rest of us had Cornish Pasty which came with a side salad and pickle. We all really enjoyed it and had a coffee each to go with it. The decaffeinated coffee came in its own pot and we easily got 4 cups from the pot, which was great value. Definitely a nice place to stop for a drink or a quick bite to eat and they even have bowls of water at the tables outside for dogs to drink out of which is a nice touch.
