The perfect B&B - For once all the 'excellent' reviews are well deserved - for this B&B ticks all the boxes and I couldn't find any faults when I stayed here just the one night. It is clean, modern, spacious, light and airy with all the mod cons. Quite frankly better than any of the 5 star hotels I've stayed at. The owners have really gone the extra mile and tried to think of everything - so you will find tea, coffee, milk, water (both sparkling and still) jaffa cakes and chocolates in your room - all complimentary. The breakfasts offer a really wide range of options and include pastries on top to boot - so more than we could possibly eat - all of it cooked to a very good standard ( no revolting sloppy scrambled egg on offer here). The location of the B&B is great as well with good views in all directions and although there is a main road outside - its not a busy one and the double glazing cuts out any annoying road noise. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place for a stay and hope to return for a longer visit later in the year

The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is served in the spacious dining room. Very communicative and attentive hosts. We were regularly greeted with fresh milk for tea and when we had to leave at 6.30am on the last day Judy and Tony got up to make breakfast for us! Rural location but within walking distance of a cozy pub with good food. Good location for touring Somerset. (Original) Ein sehr luxurises B&B, mit groer Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, antike Mbel, groe Bder, viel Stauraum,...wie im 5*- Hotel. Das Frhstck lsst keine Wnsche offen, wird im grozgigen Esszimmer serviert. Sehr kommunikative und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wir wurden regelmig mit frischer Milch fr Tee empfangen, und als wir am letzten Tag um 6.30 Uhr abreisen mussten, sind Judy und Tony fr uns aufgestanden, um Frhstck zu machen! Lndliche Lage, aber in Funhe zu einem gemtlichen Pub mit gutem Essen. Gute Lage fr Ausflge in Somerset.

Cartways was more like a 5* hotel. The bedroom was lovely, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and plenty of room. The breakfast was amazing, we breakfasted like kings! So much attention to detail. The decor was beautiful and to top it all there was Farrow and Ball colours on the walls, that can only be good! Would recommend this to anyone. Tony and Judy were excellent hosts. We wish you every success.
